One night in the month of October (ironically), she had a dream that she created a pink awareness ribbon that everyone loved. They wore them in support, memory, joy, love, and empowerment. Starletta knew after she awoke that she wanted her dream to come true although she hadn't ever made a ribbon before.
Starletta took her last $54 bought supplies and started creating and distributing for any size donation (for more supplies). Ribbons from the Heart customize and design for all cancers and other health challenges that we face everyday; like Mental Illness and Domestic Violence.
Starletta's mission today as it has always been is to continue customizing beautiful awareness ribbons for all health concerns; in honor of anyone who has to face the challenge themselves, someone known or just to be supportive.

Starletta was inspired by a loved one that lost the fight to Breast Cancer some years ago. Ms. Shirley was a strong phenomenal woman who fought to our end but her beginning of an anew with no pain, depression, or endless hope for a cure of all cancers.
Starletta knew she didn't want Ms. Shirley to be forgotten and was determine to come up with something; and 2yrs. after her passing it finally came to her. CREATE BEAUTIFUL RIBBONS!

For loved ones that have lost the fight and for the loved ones still here fighting; never giving up hope.
